On-site labs & ultrasounds

Basic lab tests and ultrasounds are diagnostic tools that can help your doctor quickly investigate and diagnose medical concerns. At Novant Health Carolina Women's Health Associates, you can get these services without leaving our office.

Lab tests

If you doctor orders a blood or urine test, it is not necessary for you to make an additional appointment or travel to another office. The tests routinely completed in our office include:

• Urine pregnancy tests.
• Urinalysis.
• Blood pregnancy tests.
• Complete blood counts.
• Antibody screens.

Ultrasounds

Ultrasounds, also called sonograms, use sound waves to visualize structures within the body. While these scans are regularly done to monitor the development of unborn babies, they are also used to visualize and diagnose a variety of gynecologic conditions. Novant Health Carolina Women's Health Associates offers both 3D and 4D ultrasounds in our office.

Other in-office procedures
